New Video --- 'UTI' by John Bussie, 8/12/2015

That moment when the video's so dope it makes you revisit the song...

Glad to say, John Bussie is still at it, blessing us with singles and videos here and there.  Got a whiff of this one today and it smelled right nice!  Simple visual concept, but crisp footage shot between Bussie and area favorite Travoris Hawkins. And of course it features dope #BARS over a sweet instrumental in traditional Bussie style.  If you haven't heard from the brotha in a minute, this is a good time to jump back on.  Young Scholar is still lurking...

As an Augusta native, I just gotta say I'm proud to see all this talent dropping banger after banger.  Pretty soon, Augusta represents will be all the music I need for my playlist, lol

Enjoy

New Video --- 'What Dey Mad Fo'/Historic Black Jails' by Truez, 8/11/2015

"For such a time as this..."

Recently I had the pleasure of being part of a video shoot for Augusta favorite Truez.  The GT Films video is a medley of two of his new singles, What Dey Mad Fo' and Historical Black Jails featuring Stratuzy.  The video was shot in a variety of locations, key of which was Minnick Park, a spot very familiar to Augusta residents.

I loved being a part of this shoot because the song and video content was extremely relevant to our situation particularly as Black people in an America full of reemerging racial tension.  In light of police brutality, racial extremists, hate crimes, and media propagandizing, I love that this video doesn't dance around this moment in our nation.

If you look closely, you'll see a lot of Augusta-area talents making appearances all throughout the video, including the likes of Truez's artist Kumar and fellow MC Stratuzy, who's featured on Historical Black Jails.  Take a peek, keep an open mind, and please share!  And yeah, if you look hard enough, you'll see a little E.G.S. in the mix as well, doing some Where's Waldo-isms, lol
